Jake Job

Biography:

I first became interested in pursuing a PhD during my master’s year at the University of York. I have always been passionate about environmental science, and during my master’s I discovered the excitement of carrying out new research and contributing to the advancement of the field. My project focused on the impact of switching to sustainable aviation fuel on local VOC concentrations in and around airports. I am particularly motivated by the challenge of understanding atmospheric processes that influence both climate and air quality.

Outside of academia, I enjoy spending time in nature. I often visit the Lake District or North Wales to go hiking or camping.

Mchem, University of York, Master of chemistry the atmosphere and the environment.

Atmospheric Chemistry, Climate Change, Air Pollution, Remote Environments.

Project Title:

Nitrogen oxides and ozone in the remote tropical Atlantic Ocean.
