Biography
I am a PGR based in the School of Earth, Environment and Sustainability at the University of Leeds working with Dr. Gareth Keevil, investigating the relationship between in-flow vegetation and downstream velocity profiles and sedimentation. I previously completed both my MSc and BS in Civil Engineering with a focus in Hydrologic, Environmental, and Sustainability Engineering (HESE) at the University of Colorado, Denver.

PhD: Getting to the root of floodplain dynamics: Modelling interactions of water flow and riparian vegetation
My project is an investigation on floodplain dynamics in chalk-stream river systems, focusing on how seasonal variation in vegetation influences flow hydraulics and downstream velocity profiles. The project aims to improve the understanding and modelling of vegetation-flow interactions to better predict river behaviour and assess their implications for floor risk and natural flood management.
