Gabriel Rowland

Biography:

Before my PhD, I completed a BSc in Environmental Science at the University of Leeds, with a Year in Industry working for Network Rail’s Environment and Sustainability Team. Following this, I completed an Msc in Biodiversity and Conservation with African Field Course at the University of Leeds. I also completed a research placement with the University of Cambridge looking at land-use in the Cairngorms National Park.

Research Interests:

Conservation, reintroductions, translocations, perceptions, policy, anthropology, ecology.

Ecological and conservation implications of illicit and unregulated species translocations.
